[April 2, 2004] IVT Bluelet™ Stack
V6.0 is qualified as a fully compliant v1.2 Bluetooth protocol
stack (Bluetooth identifier: B01477)! IVT Bluelet™ Stack
V6.0 is a full implementation of the Bluetooth™ Specification V1.2
using ANSI C. It involves the protocols of TCS, SDP, RFCOMM,
L2CAP, and BNEP, the profiles of GAP, SPP, SDAP and PAN, also the
HCI. The code, which is very efficient, reliable and small, is
suitable for embedded applications as well as desktop
applications. IVT performed protocol validation using the formal
design technique, Specification Description Language (SDL), to
assure that all protocols are logically correct before coding.
Aided by its specific separation of system dependent and
independent code, IVT Bluelet™ can support different operating
systems such as Windows 98/SE/ME/2000/XP, Windows CE, Linux,
Nucleus, REX, COS-II, ITRON, MQX, VxWorks, pSOS+, and OSE. IVT
Bluelet™ has no particular requirements on processors.
IVT
Bluelet™ Stack can support different HCI transport drivers
(USB, UART, PCMCIA, BCSP).
IVT is working closely with Bluetooth chip manufacturers to
ensure the interoperability of IVT Bluelet™ stack with Bluetooth
chips through HCI. IVT Bluelet™ supports many different Bluetooth
chipsets such as from CSR, Broadcom, Oki, Infineon, National
Semiconductor, Philips, ST, Silicon Wave, TI, Waveplus and
Zeevo.
