IVT Corporation has announced the opening of its Bluetooth Interoperability Testing Centre in Beijing China. IVT has been at the forefront of Bluetooth development and testing since 1999 with the release of their Bluetooth host stack conformance tester and interoperability tester (BlueTester) in September 2000 and September 2001. Hence, such service is a natural progression and use of their extensive Bluetooth and protocol testing knowledgebase.
Alan Buckley, IVT Executive Technical Director stated that "We envisage this, as the important step for Bluetooth Interoperability Testing with strategic alliances with globally positioned Test Houses, Certification Test Houses and Bluetooth Test Equipment Manufacturers , such as TMTI, RFI Global and Frontline Test Equipment".
IVT is aiming to catalogue the largest Bluetooth devices library added weekly, in order to facilitate the Bluetooth industry and improve interoperability experience. IVT will focus on interoperability testing above HCI level.
Initially, IVT will offer four levels of services:
Level 1: Bluetooth device interoperability testing
Thorough interoperability testing against a selection of the compatible Bluetooth devices in the market with test reports
Bluetooth device's interoperability compared with similar devices in the market
Level 2: Bluetooth Conformance & Interoperability Testing
Conformance and interoperability testing against the Bluetooth SIG PTS Tuning Suite
Level 3:Debugging Interoperability Problems
Locate the cause of any failed test cases, applying extensive Bluetooth know how to fix and improve any related issues.
Level 4: BQB Listing Assistant
Generate test reports
Help in Listing a product through alliance with Certification Test Houses
