IVT announces the world's first Bluetooth Conformance
and Interoperability tester.
The cost-effective unit consists of a USB Dongle using
Ericssons Bluetooth Module and the associated testing software on
CD. The first release of testing software includes IVT's Blue Unit
Tester, Bluetooth Host stack Conformance tester, and Bluetooth
Host Stack Protocol Analyzer. Bluetooth Profile Interoperability
Tester will be added soon.
Dr. Qiang GAO, CEO of IVT, commented that, "IVT has added
another piece in the complex world of Bluetooth approval. With the
BlueTester, IVT can supply the means for systematic testing of
Bluetooth products according to Bluetooth testing specifications,
which enables the developer to do in-house testing, de-bugging and
pre-qualification testing. It will enable Bluetooth developers
with the assistance of IVT to submit products for Bluetooth
Qualification process with the confidence that the products are
compatible to the Bluetooth specification."
