SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -Jan. 8, 2001 - IVT
Corporation, a privately-held provider of Bluetooth wireless
communications products, today announced that it has partnered
with Computer Bus Tools based in Newbury Park, California as its
distribution partner for the US.
"Computer Bus Tools brings a great deal of experience and
success in the IT testing and software distribution markets and
dramatically increases our resources in the US. We are very
pleased to be working with a talented and emerging company like
Computer Bus Tools". Said Arnie Lingwall, IVT's Director of
Marketing and Sales, USA. Computer Bus Tools will be representing
IVT's full range of Bluetooth products including its protocol
stack, Bluetooth software suite, conformance and interoperability
testers, IVT's Bluetooth analyzer, reference designs and testing
services.
"Bluetooth Solutions will be bringing new applications in ways
we never dreamed" according to Computer Bus Tools President,
Dennis Murphy. "Time to market pressures will be greatly relieved
through the use of the proven IVT Bluetooth protocol stack
solution sets. IVT's conformance and interoperability testing
solutions and services add a great deal of value to our existing
high-end Bluetooth analyzer tools."
IVT's Bluetooth Protocol Stack is a full implementation of the
Bluetooth host protocol stack V1.1 in ANSI C. It contains all
protocols in the Bluetooth host protocol stacks including TCS,
SDP, RFCOMM, L2CAP and HCI. The code is very efficient, reliable,
small, and suitable for embedded applications as well as desktop
applications. IVT's validated protocol uses the formal design
technique Specification Description Language (SDL) to assure that
protocols were correct before writing C code.
Major advantages of the IVT BlueletTM Protocol Stack are as
follows: BQB Qualified; Based on validated SDL model; Library
based ANSI C source Code, easy to port to different Oss; Support
different Oss (VxWorks, pSOS+, OSE, Win32, Windows CE, Linux, Palm
OS, and REX); support different HCI transport drivers (USB, UART,
and PCMCIA); and support over thirteen Bluetooth chip sets.
Further more, IVT protocol stack and profiles are used in IVT
BlueTester? As reference implementations to be tested in test
houses and product manufacturers against many different products
for conformance and interoperability. IVT offers market leading
interoperability.
