March 27. 2003, IVT announces the release
of its Bluetooth Audio/Video profiles implementation together with
two related protocol conformance testers simultaneously! This
release offers BlueletTM Audio/Video Distribution Transport
Protocol (AVDTP), Audio/Video Control Transport Protocol (AVCTP),
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio/Video Remote
Control Profile (AVRCP), BlueTesterTM for AVDTP Conformance and
BlueSoleil™-PTS for AVCTP Conformance.
IVT implemented A2DP on Windows platform. It can distribute
audio stream wirelessly between two Bluetooth-enabled computers.
AV protocols and profiles are accomplished to supply a way for two
devices to transmit high quality audio stream in real time. User
can play music file by popular software on SRC side, while
the audio stream of music file is distributed to the SNK,
then user can listen to the music on the SNK side.
