IVT Announces BlueSoleil™ Smart Phone Edition

[April 10, 2003] IVT Corporation announces its BlueSoleil Smart phone Edition, a Windows CE based Bluetooth turnkey solution.
BlueSoleil Smart phone Edition supports numerous profiles, such as Cordless phone profile, Personal Area Networking Profile, LAN Access Profile, Serial Port Profile, Dial-Up Networking Profile, OBEX File Transfer Profile, Object Push Profile, Basic Imaging Profile, Hardcopy Cable Replacement Profile, Headset Profile and AV Profiles.
Working with IVT's Bluetooth PSTN, ADSL and ISDN Access Points, Bluesoleil Smart phone edition can act as a cordless phone; as well as enabling access to the Internet through such Access Points.
Using the AV profile or Headset profile, one can listen to music stored in the Smart phone and make and receive a phone call using a Bluetooth headset without taking one's Smart phone out of ones pocket.
With the Basic Image profile, Smart phone can capture an image and send it to a printer, a PC, or network.
IVT BlueSoleil Smart phone Edition supports many CPUs, including ARM, Strong ARM, SH3/4, MIPS, PPC and X86. It is also compatible with multiple Bluetooth chip-sets such as Broadcom, CSR, Infineon, National Semiconductor, OKI, Philip, ST, Silicon Wave, TI and Zeevo. It supports standard interfaces like UART H4/BCSP, USB, PCMCIA and Compact Flash.
