IVT Bluetooth PSTN/ ISDN Data & Voice Access Point (AP) integrates the Bluetooth DUN, CTP&ICP and Headset profiles in one product, providing both wireless access to Internet service and the audio related services for Bluetooth-enabled devices like desktop, laptop, PDA, smart phone, mobile phone, headset, and some electrical appliances.

It has a standard RJ11 interface to connect to PSTN/ ISDN. When other Bluetooth mobile devices come into the range of the AP, a 2.4GHz wireless link will be established. This connection allows desktops/ Laptops/ PDAs to browse the Internet, send/receive email, transfer files, and share LAN resources wirelessly, enables mobile phones to be used as cordless phones of the AP, and realizes the call transfer automatically between the GSM/CDMA mobile phone call to the fixed line (AP), it means you still enjoy the convenience and flexibility of the mobile phone call but pay much lower. The AP supports simultaneously up to seven client connections with it, these client devices and the AP can make data or voice communication with each other free.

IVT Bluetooth Ethernet Access Point (AP) series based on Bluetooth Personal Area Networking (PAN) profile, provide Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices a secure and speedy wireless access to a LAN/ Internet.

IVT Bluetooth Stereo headphone based on Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), provides the streaming of audio content from audio source (a stereo music player) to it.
It features all the functionalities a user would demand from using an audio source (such as PC). Besides eliminating the need for wires to connect a headphone to a PC, it functions as a remote controller to control an audio source (such as MP3 player), for example, play/ stop/ rewind.

IVT Bluetooth keyboard is based on Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) profile, used by humans to remote control the operation of host computer wirelessly in 10 meters range. It transfers key-press message to and receives keyboard control information from the host computer through BT wireless channel. User can enjoy the convenience and flexibility of wireless. User can also use the keyboard with other PCs.

Except the BT wireless communication channel, the keyboard can also be used as an ordinary USB wired keyboard in some necessary situations. For example, when users want to operate keyboard in BIOS status to do some CMOS setup, the computer even has not loaded the OS, the Bluetooth stack cannot work, the USB mode can be used. Or when Bluetooth keyboard cannot work normally for some reasons like battery use up or bad electromagnetic noise environment, if no other selection like USB mode, even for only a short time, it will be unacceptable for the users.

IVT Bluetooth Headset not only provides compatibility to existing Bluetooth mobile phones but also provides interoperability with Bluetooth-enabled devices like desktop, laptop, PDA and Voice/Data gateways which support Headset Profile.

The unique design of the function keys and LED indicators make the headset comfortable and very easy to use.

All the incoming call to the Bluetooth mobile phone will be transferred to headset. Furthermore, empowered by IVT Audio Gateway products including Bluetooth ADSL Voice/Data AP, Bluetooth PSTN Voice AP, Bluetooth PSTN/ISDN Voice/Data AP and BT Ethernet/PSTN 2-in-1 AP, the headset can also be used as handset of cordless phone.

IVT has implemented Audio/Video Remote Control Profile and ported this profile on a remote controller.

This controller translates the detected user action to the A/V control signal, and then transmits it to a remote Bluetooth device. The functions available for a conventional infrared remote controller can be realized in this reference design.

The remote control implemented in this reference design is designed specific to A/V control. Other remote control solutions using Bluetooth wireless technology may be applied for general Bluetooth devices including A/V devices.
