Here in iPAQ3630 or in iPAQ3850 is the hole on the right side of the bottom of the PDA , just right beside iPAQ USB or UART interface, insert your stylus pin into the hole to achieve the soft reset. Its function is just to reload the WINCE OS and load the device drivers if have been installed. Except your current active task's work cannot be recovered, all of other work will not be lost.

You can refer to the following steps:
1. Re-install the IVT Bluetooth Software (This installation is just for removing the IVT driver, it does nothing else.)
2. When "It is in ROM, cannot be replaced" is displayed, select No.
3. Immediately do the remove operation (please check the former pages in this doc.).
4. Soft reset it.
5. Re-install IVT driver, this time it will succeed.
6. Soft reset it.
7. Now you can use the IVT Bluetooth Software.
