If you are using Windows 9X, the installation program will unbind the NetBEUI Protocol with the BT Network Adapter. After the installation, NetBEUI Protocol should not be modified or installed. If NetBEUI Protocol has been changed or the network adapter is reinstalled, please reinstall this program.

When you join in a BlueNetwork, the IP address of your device is configured by the system automatically since Windows uses dynamic addressing as default. However you can also manually configure TCP/IP for static addressing to save IP address configuration time during the process of joining a BlueNetwork. In manual configuration, you should make sure that your IP address is unique in the BlueNetwork and all the computers in this BlueNetwork have the same subnet mask. About how to manually configure the IP address of your device for the Bluetooth connection, you can refer to Windows Help about TCP/IP topic: To configure TCP/IP for dynamic addressing and To configure TCP/IP for static addressing.

It is recommended that you configure the IP address of your device manually as soon as the installation of the software is finished.

After you join a BlueNetwork, the BT Network Adapter can be used as a real Ethernet adapter for users. For example, we can use Network Neighborhood in Windows (My Network Place in Windows2000) to access the shared resources on other computers.

But the situation occurs frequently that the other computers cannot be found in Network Neighborhood. Windows needs a few minutes to recognize the other computers on the BlueNetwork after a BlueNetwork is joined. So you have to wait a few minutes (about 2-3 minutes) to find the other computers in Network Neighborhood. Or you can type the computer?¡¥s name in the address bar to access the computer directly, as shown in Figure 9.

After you change your IP address in Windows, or you enable and disable your local area connection frequently, sometimes the upper layer lost the bind with the network card driver. This is a Windows bug. IVT does not prompt user for reboot when user changes his/her IP address or enable and disable his local area connection frequently. However, if this problem is encountered, please restart your computer and run this application again.

As for this question, you should at first make sure the IP address and subnet mask are configured correctly on both the client and the server. If both are correct, you should check whether there is any Firewall software running on the server or the client, if so, you should close the Firewall software.

Please make sure that you have plugged Bluetooth dongle into the USB interface of your computer or Bluetooth PCMCIA into your laptop computer.

If your former network card and the BT network adaptor have the same IP address, you must disable former network card and enable BT network adaptor before using MiniBluelet_Pan.

In the same way, please enable the former network card and disable BT network adaptor if you do not want to use the MiniBluelet_Pan.

If the IP addresses of the former network card and the BT network adaptor are different, the two network cards can all be enabled.
